L’ORMA (ITALY)

L’Orma is an educational agency that develops and offers sportive / expressive training experience based on non-formal education aimed at stimulating personal and professional growth of children, teenagers and adults. Its local activities include school laboratories, summer camps, trainings and it also participates in various EU projects such as collaborative partnerships, training courses, adult education, Erasmus Young Entrepreneur Program, EVS/ESC, pilot-project sport and strategic partnerships.

MINE VAGANTI NGO (ITALY)

Mine Vaganti NGO (MVNGO) born in Sardinia (Italy) in 2009. MVNGO has 4 offices in Sassari, Olbia, Tempio Pausania and Uri, covering the whole North Sardinia. It promotes Intercultural Dialogue, Social Entrepreneurship, Social Inclusion through Sport, integration of migrants and ethnic minorities and environmental protection. MVNGO operates in both the formal and non formal branches of education.

MVNGO is an educational training provider at local and European level and has a consultant role for public and private bodies in order to promote and develop European and trans-continental projects. It works on Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, Europe for Citizens, Creative Europe, EuropeAid, COSME, AMIF, the United Nations programmes (UNDEF) and with foundations such as EYF, Anna Lindh, Open Society and Fondazione CON IL SUD.

The use of Sport in combination with NFE methodologies as an educational instrument of youth/adults/NEET/Migrants inclusion is one of MVNGO’s key areas of expertise. The aim of MVNGO Sport Branch is to support and improve the use of NFE and Sport, in combination, as a tool for education, social inclusion, mutual understanding, entrepreneurial development, leadership etc.

UNIVERSITY OF THESSALY

University of Thessaly, with 37 Departments, and 8 schools is a University with its own identity and with a prominent position in Greece national educational system. The Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences was founded in 1993. The Department has about 20 active bilateral agreements within the framework of LLP/Erasmus academic exchange programmes as well as numerous collaborations with various foreign bodies (e.g., Womens Sport International, Institute for Teaching and Learning) and universities (e.g., Universities of Glasgow, Wolverhampton, Edith Cowan και Manchester). It has also established collaborations with 12 universities within the framework of the common European Postgraduate Program Erasmus Mundus, entitled “European Master Degree in Sports Psychology”.

The Department’s vision is “To transform the lives of those who engage us through knowledge, education, research, and innovation, and to be nationally and internationally recognised as the Greek agent for excellence in exercise science, sport, health, and quality of life”. The Department actively engages in the realization of this vision through a series of short-, mid- and long-term activities within the framework of a strategic plan aiming at further development and viability.

Their role is to be not just an educational establishment, but also a generator of knowledge reflected on the people’s daily lives. As educational establishments, their function is to provide able, self-directed learners that are independent and confident, and will go out into society and give to society through leadership or through civic duties. Additionally, they aim to provide new concrete knowledge, to change paradigms, to aid society in its development and meet new challenges as they come along.

Youth in Science and Business Foundation

Youth in Science and Business Foundation (YSBF) is a non-profit organization aimed at supporting entrepreneurship, innovative ideas and creativity. It has been dealing with several projects on how to promote knowledge of young people and on issues related to promotion of creativity and innovative thinking to promote entrepreneurship as a career choice among young people and disadvantaged groups in the society. They hope to be helpful in providing more opportunities to young people with the help of entrepreneurship promotion and setting a footing for more elaborate possibilities of work for young people, especially for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds (e.g. migrants).

Since establishment of YSBF in 2001, they have received funding for our projects from EU-funds, private sector companies, Estonian government and international organizations.We are based in Tallinn, Estonia, but our projects are mostly international. They have more than 18 years of experience in projects related to young people, science, technology and dissemination of novel ideas.

YSBF considers it very important to involve into their activities various groups in society–including young people with disadvantaged background. Providing equal opportunities and fostering intercultural dialogue helps to overcome differences in Europe and within societies.

YSBF has been active in several projects, which help to promote entrepreneurship and innovation related topics in schools, companies and in wider society. We have been working with project “Hopework”, which aimed at helping refugees from Ukrainian conflict zones to use internet-based tools and portals in finding entrepreneurial working opportunities internationally

FINSWIMMING TEAM KOMET

Finswimming team Komet has been established in 2011 in Zagreb (Croatia), and is a part of a wide network of contacts and twin clubs worldwide. Since 2013, FT Komet is also active in implementing projects funded by grants, with focus on Erasmus+ Sport. In 2016 Komet won 1st place in the Croatian national championship for Clubs. Its members Adrijan Omićević and Kristijan Tomić qualified for finals in three disciplines in the World Finswimming Championship 2016 and Tomić won a silver medal: these are the best results ever for Croatian finswimming. Their coach is Rubes Levada, who is also among the founders and is currently the treasurer of the club. Komet currently totals 43 members.

Komet has participated in different national programmes as a project applicant and already got funded for an ongoing Erasmus+ Sport project (www.project-aurora.eu), for which project it is the coordinator, together with Triathlon club Velika Gorica (Croatia), Record Team Bologna (Italy) and Sharks Sport Club (Sweden). It is member of HRS – Croatian Diving Federation (www.diving-hrs.hr) which is member of CMAS – World Underwater Activities Federation (www.cmas.org)

BULGARIAN SPORTS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION

Bulgarian Sports Development Association was founded in 2010 and is a nonprofit public benefit organization devoted to the development of Bulgarian sport and improving sporting culture in Bulgaria. 

Their team works for development of Bulgarian sport and enhance the sport culture in Bulgaria with a desire and motivation. BSDA membership is voluntary and the association involve both physical and legal persons who are willing to help sport development with time, ideas, effort or financial support. They also organize different events in the areas of: entrepreneurship, citizenship and active society. The team of the organization consists of professionals from different fields as: sport experts, media specialists, tourism and hospitality, education, marketing  and others.

Bulgarian sports development association has extensive experience in the field of youth activities, sports events and trainings. Young athletes and volunteers are an essential part of the team of the Association and for its team capacity building of Bulgarian youth and sport experts is a top priority. Over the years it has organized a variety of events focused in the development of sport and physical activity and implementing of good practices on local level in thir country. Each team member is committed to the development of sport and has solid background in various aspects of management, administration and organization of NGO and entrepreunerial sector. Team members has participated in multiple trainings and initiatives under the program Youth in Action and Erasmus+.

Over the years we have built excellent partnerships with a number of Bulgarian and international organizations with whom they maintain active relationships and develop joint projects for the development of sport and active civil society. Founders and young leaders of Bulgarian sports development association posses of experienced and influential organizational backgrounds with multiple projects that includes: more than 50 sport events of various range organized in Bulgaria – national, European and world championships in different sports, more than 30 national and international conferences, organized in Bulgaria, participation in many European events at representative level on behalf of Bulgaria on youth and sport policies such as EU Sport Forum, EU Youth conferences, Training of Trainers, Training of International Project Managers, Social Entrepreneurship,  Education through Sport, Congresses and workshops.
